Coincidence that this is the same date that the Pearlbank public tender closes?
18 \| 09 \| 2009 Fire breaks out at a 31st floor flat at Pearlbank, approx 1:30am. Newspaper reports indicate the fire was extinguished within 10 minutes. No one was injured, but toxic smoke billowed from the flat for at least 2 hours due to bicycles and a tread mill in the totally gutted unit. Cause not determined. Hey kids - don't play with fire : alter candles are not toys.
